1. These electronic glasses allow the legally blind to see
Toronto-based eSight Corp. has launched a pair of electronic glasses that enable the legally blind to see. Using high-tech image processing, people have the chance to experience 20/20 vision.
Magnification, contrast, brightness and focus are able to be controlled while videos are projected onto 2 OLED screens in front of the eyes.
The glasses benefit people who have a number of conditions including people who have optic nerve hypoplasia, ocular albanism, forms of glaucoma and more.
