presentations and speakers in the areas of research, technology,
business and policy for the 2011 mHealth Summit.
Presented by the FNIH in partnership with the mHealth Alliance,
HIMSS and NIH, the 3rd annual mHealth Summit will take place
December 5-7, 2011 in the Washington, DC area. The largest event of
its kind, the mHealth Summit brings together leaders from across
the mHealth ecosystem, to advance collaboration in the use of
wireless technology to improve health outcomes in the United States

for Research Abstracts: The 2011 mHealth Summit seeks
abstracts for presentations from the academic, public and private
research sectors that highlight ground-breaking health research
using mobile technologies in clinical medicine and public health.
Submissions can address a wide range of mobile health technologies
including assessment and diagnostic tools, preventive health
efforts, disease surveillance methods, chronic disease management,
mobile telemedicine, and behavior change interventions. Although
feasibility/usability and pilot studies of cutting-edge
applications will be considered, priority will be given to
presentations that provide a rigorous and well-controlled
evaluation (the design of which should be described in the
abstract) of the application of mobile technology to improve
