PITTSBURGH, Sept. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Vocollect Healthcare
Systems (www.accunurse.com and www.blog.accunurse.com),
a business unit of Intermec, Inc. (NYSE:
IN) announces an expansion of its AccuNurse product to now
include full, interdisciplinary clinical care plans, and the
release of CliniConsole, a clinical dashboard that monitors
resident and patient health trends at enterprise, regional and
individual facility levels.
The AccuNurse clinical care plan is the industry’s first and
only interactive solution that provides real-time documentation via
voice to trigger care plan suggestions using real and dynamic data.
The new care plan also allows users to trigger point-of-care tasks
to team members as care plans change. The assessment module
provides the ability to quickly create voice-driven assessments to
expand the value of voice beyond the CNA and to other key members
of the interdisciplinary care team as appropriate. Updates also
include voice support at the point of care for the Interact II Stop
and Watch Assessment, and iPad support.
CliniConsole is AccuNurse’s dashboard tool that provides
corporate and facility leadership with the ability to self-monitor
AccuNurse, both with key clinical outcomes such as ADL trending,
and user performance and compliance. CliniConsole provides
key visibility into the data that drives the value of AccuNurse
beyond the capability of site-level reports, and helps
organizations to easily determine strengths and weaknesses so that
they can address gaps needed to remain competitive.
“With so much attention focused on healthcare reform and
compliance, it’s more crucial than ever for provider organizations
to use the most progressive, cutting-edge technology to monitor and
measure health trends and clinical performance,” said Amy H
