Terra Universal announced the SFX150 The SFX150 Sonifier® Cell Disruptor by Branson. According to Terra Universal, the SFX150 Sonifier® Cell Disruptor is designed to quietly prepare low-volume samples from 0.2mL to 150 mL. It performs using continuous or 40kHz ultrasonics. Using push-button programming on a digital display screen, the SFX150 Sonifier® Cell Disruptor can recall up to 20 sample-preparation methods. Users are able to track their progress and have control over sample processing time, temperature, and amplitude.
Additional features include:

- -A converter
- -An 1/8th-inch tip
- -An ergonomic handle for the handheld converter, including a recessed power button to prevented unwanted activation.
“SFX150 Sonifier is available with a standard converter for stack operation of long-duration samples, or a handheld converter for fast processing of single samples,” says Terra Universal. Heat-sensitive samples are protected with user-specified temperature ranges using an optional probe.”
