Carbon hires first chief marketing officer

3D printing and digital manufacturing company Carbon recently announced that it’s hired Dara Treseder as its first chief marketing officer.

Dara was previously chief marketing officer for GE Ventures and GE Business Innovations.

“Dara joins us at a critical time in Carbon’s journey, as we push the boundaries of technology and execute our strategy to create a new standard for digital manufacturing across the globe,” Joseph DeSimone, Carbon’s CEO and co-founder, said in the news release.

Through partnerships with companies including Johnson & Johnson, Adidas, and BMW, Carbon is moving beyond 3D printing to full-scale digital manufacturing.
