Celldex Therapeutics Inc., a brain cancer vaccine developer in Needham, has named Ronald Pepin as senior vice president and chief business officer of the company.
Prior to joining Celldex, Pepin served as vice president of Shire Pharmaceuticals. He worked at Medarex Inc. for nine years prior, as senior vice president of business development, forming co-development and co-marketing deals with such companies as Merck, Ono Pharmaceuticals and Bristol-Myers Squibb. A former executive director of external science and technology at Bristol-Myers Squibb, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a doctorate in biology from Georgetown University.
