Heimatec recently announced that it has launched its European partner Andreas Maier’s brand of marking and cleaning tools in the U.S.
“This development brings additional products to our current customers and responds to the market needs for quality marking and cleaning tools for workpieces in CNC machining,” Preben Hansen, president of Heimatec, said.
AMF marking tools are used to permanently mark workpieces made from different types of metal and thermoplastic substrates. They are usually mounted in toolholders to be used in the spindle of a CNC machine tool. Surfaces are marked through a combination of pressure and material displacement. The newly launched AMF marking tools are able to function with or without rotation and typically without height adjustment on the spindle. They can easily mark thin material and cylindrical workpieces.
The cleaning tools are used to clean workpieces, tooling and the interior of CNC machines. They are usually clamped in toolholders and mounted onto machine spindles. The cleaning tool removed swarf and other debris from workpieces, clamping tools, rotary tables and other fixtures when using through spindle coolant or compressed air. The spindle can remain in place or in slow rotation mode during the cleaning process. AMF cleaning tools are available in horizontal or vertical style models to suit the machine spindle configuration and feature adjustable jet nozzles for precise cleaning and coolant or compressed air conservation. Each kit has the option to include tools, gauge and all fastening hardware.
