When it comes to wearable biosensors, one of the biggest challenges involves adhesives: How do you get it to stick enough that it stays, but not so much that it discomforts or even takes skin with it when the sensor is removed?Flexcon (Spencer, Mass.) at MD&M West touted its Dermaflex product line, which features biocompatible adhesives that are ISO 10993 certified for safe skin contact. Dermaflex’s potential applications include electrodes, surgical drapes, medical tapes, medical drapes and diagnostic components.
