MICROMO has launched a new series of linear actuators that feature standard gearheads with an integrated leadscrew that allow for any rotary motor to produce linear micro motion.

The company suggests that the gearheads with integrated leadscrew offer a cost advantage to engineers and also provide a more compact motion solution when compared to conventional configuration methods.

MICROMO’s new micro linear actuators are available in 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm diameter with a variety of reduction ratios offered. Each linear actuator comes in a high-speed or high-thrust version and can be used with any motor technology, including stepper motors and brushless dc motors. The lead screw length can quickly and easily be customized to fit specific applications, according to the company.
