Plans to Overhaul Ambulance Industry Met With Enthusiasm: Online Marketplace for Emergency Medical Services Introduces Largest Selection of Products and Services on the Web

March 24, 2011 By Bio-Medicine.Org

PHILADELPHIA, March 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Buying and
supplying an ambulance has never been more difficult; with over 25
manufacturer websites to browse and EMS products to sift through
and financing to secure, private ambulance companies and
municipalities have their work cut out for them. With the launch of
AmbulanceMarket.com, the largest online marketplace for new and
used ambulances, EMS supplies and equipment, the website plans to
overhaul the emergency services industry by creating an online
community of buyers and sellers who want to streamline their buying
power and usher in a multimedia, Web 2.0 era.

“Our goal at Ambulance Market is to create a website that
strengthens the EMS community by providing information and selling
products in a fun, yet informative way,” explained Liz Henry,
Director of Marketing at Ambulance Market. “By creating a website
that relies on transparency, customer reviews, and a
highly-qualified network of dealers, we’re filling a gap that,
unfortunately, has been around for far too long in the EMS
industry. Nothing should be hard about securing financing for an
ambulance, stocking its products or purchasing the ambulance
itself. Not only are we making it easy, we’re filling in the gaps
through a multimedia presentation that includes videos, pictures,
manufacturing news and access to information that, until now, has
been hard to find,” added Henry.

Ambulance Market contends that they are the first online
marketplace to offer quality EMS products at competitive prices,
used ambulances for sale through private sellers, and a nationwide
network of new ambulance dealers that represent an overwhelming
majority of manufacturers in the industry. “We are the first
website of our kind in the EMS industry,” said Henry. “We have seen
a very positive response from customers and users. They like the
idea of a one-stop shop.”
