Manufactured by QSonica, the Q1375 Sonicator features programmable duration (one second to 10 hours) and amplitude for individual batch samples or flow-through applications. It comes with probe and optional booster for increased sound-wave amplitude that can handle larger sample volumes.
The sonicator has a pulse mode to prevent increased temperatures that may damage samples.
A digital display shows amplitude, elapsed time and pulse settings, adjustable from one second to one minute. The sonicator has a power rating of 1,375 watts. Safety features include protection from overheating and circuit overload.
Other options include high-volume titanium probes, an insulated sound cabinet to reduce decibel levels by 20 dBa and stand that holds probes in place. Q1375 Sonicator is 220 volts with 50/60 hertz.
