Tesera X uses the company’s 3D printed porous architecture that is made using additively manufactured titanium alloy. It features a low modulus, load-sharing design with a randomized pore structure that replicates cancellous bone. The Tesera X has a 550-micron average pore size and has 68% porosity that is combined with micro-surface roughness in the structure to make it ideal for bone ongrowth and ingrowth.
The new interbody fusion system also completes Renovis Surgical’s 3D-printed titanium inter body product line that already includes implants for ALIF, TLIF, PLIF, ACDF and standalones.
