Inc. has expanded its line of RFID-enabled enclosures with the
addition of a new refrigerator that is well-suited for hospital and
laboratory inventory management. Leveraging the power of RFID,
the new refrigerator makes better use of space, reduces energy
consumption, lowers maintenance costs, and protects high value
products such as reagents, cardiovascular products, tissue samples,
and orthopedic supplies.

The new refrigerator has a temperature range of 36 to 46 degrees
Fahrenheit and has 5.5 cubic feet of storage space. RFID technology
enables the refrigerator to capture inventory transactions at the
item level by user, leading to greater accountability. In addition,
the refrigerator monitors temperature and expiration dates, and can
also trigger alarms when doors are left open. And it’s all
