Endomag
Endomag’s Magtrace and Sentimag magnetic localization system is a magnetic device system used to guide lymph node biopsies in patients who are undergoing mastectomies for breast cancer.
Cambridge, U.K.–based Endomag designed the system to assist in sentinel lymph node biopsies to determine whether cancer has spread beyond its initial tumor site. It has an injectable magnetic tracer and the Sentimag magnetic sensing probe and base unit.
Magtrace was nominated for the Prix Galien’s best medical technology awards in 2020.
