7. Using BioflightVR to train doctors and students

Virtual reality medical training from BioflightVR helps doctors and medical students refine their skills and learn in a way that helps them retain the information. The technology is also used as an education tool to help doctors learn about bodies, illnesses and health issues with medical animations.

According to BioflightVR’s website, its virtual reality medical training simulates real-world procedures that are impossible or costly to recreate in the real world.

The company builds its technology for a variety of markets including medical device companies, pharmaceutical companies, medical equipment manufacturers, hospitals, doctors, physicians, surgeons, clinical researchers, universities, medical educators and students.

BioflightVR has also created a smoking cessation virtual reality experience that takes users through various organs in their body that are affected by smoking and shows what smoking does to those organs.

Videos filmed in 360 degrees helps users get a better idea of how to perform certain procedures by giving the users different vantage points. Interactive graphical overlays give users a better understanding of how an operating room works.
