used in eight live cases at Peripheral Angioplasty and All That Jazz

at Ochsner Medical Center

The Infinix DP-i features two C-arms – 8″ x 8″

for peripheral – allowing clinicians to use the most appropriate detector. When
combined with Toshibas proprietary Next Generation Advanced Image Processing
(AIP), Infinix DP-i provides improved visualization, helping clinicians more
quickly and accurately diagnose and treat patients.
“Infinix DP-is two independent yet dedicated C-arms result
in one system working like two, and there is no other system like it,” said
Stephen Bumb, director, X-ray Vascular Business Unit, Toshiba. “The ability to
switch flat panel detectors, coupled with superior contrast, dynamic resolution
and reduced image lag, allows for better visualization by both clinicians and
spectators, improving patient treatment and learning opportunities.”
