When it comes to medical science, having a physical model of anything makes things a bit easier. 

This year, we have seen 3D printing used to plan out surgeries such as arms and legs. 

But what about the brain? Researchers from the University of Connecticut are using 3D print outs to determine how to pull out blood clots from stroke victims.
