Highlight the heroes
Communication isn’t limited to bad news and worry. Lobo says Stryker used its open lines to instill hope when possible.
“There are a lot of inspirational hero stories,” he said. “We balanced the negatives with these positive, inspiring stories. We heard what customers were looking for from us, and we heard from customers directly.”
Hearing from customers and other Stryker personnel was “very powerful” for employees, Lobo said.
