MedTech Innovator announces 65 startups for its 2025 cohort

June 6, 2025 By Chris Newmarker

This is the logo of MedTech Innovator.Major medtech accelerator MedTech Innovator has selected 65 startups out of an applicant pool of 1,500 to compete in its prestigious four-month program.

On top of a chance to compete for $800,000 in non-dilutive funding, the 65 companies participate in a four-month program where they can de-risk innovations and accelerate their path to the U.S. market, as well as gain access to some of the top companies in the medical device industry. MedTech Innovator alumni have collectively brought over 400 products to market and raised $10 billion in follow-on funding.

Samay — the grand prize winner of last year’s program — is developing an AI-driven acoustic resonance platform for respiratory care and management.

“MedTech Innovator’s accelerator is a comprehensive platform for risk mitigation and value creation that helps the world’s most promising medtech startups become investable,” Paul Grand, MedTech Innovator’s CEO and founder, said in a news release released yesterday. “Over the next four months, our 2025 cohort will work closely with MTI’s extensive network of mentors and partners to advance these innovative technologies toward U.S. market access and public health benefit.”

MedTech Innovator and its corporate partners rigorously evaluated this year’s 1,500 applicants and invited 213 of them to MedTech Innovator Road Tour events in Los Angeles, College Park, Maryland, and Dublin.
