The FlexDex by pediatric surgeon Jim Geiger is a “needle driver” that allows surgeons to stitch up a patient from the inside of their body. The device mounts to the surgeon’s arm. It’s design is mechanical and features a “Virtual Center” that “locates the device’s center of rotation at the same point as the surgeon’s wrist,” according to MPO Magazine.
