Otitis Media with Effusion (OME), or also known as “ear glue,” is one of the leading causes of hearing loss, according to the National University of Singapore (NUS).
A team led by Associate Professor Tan Kok Kiong developed the CLiKX.
“CLiKX uses a sensor to safely insert almost any commercially available grommet into the patient’s ear with a single click in less than a second, minimizing contact with the eardrum and reducing discomfort,” says NUS.
