A 22-year-old woman was in dire need of a life-saving operation because of a rare condition that caused her scalp to grow inward. The condition put incredible pressure on her brain, so doctors at University Medical Center Utrecht in The Netherlands had to resort to unconventional treatment measures to deal with the unique circumstances of the patient’s situation.
