Flywheel, Imbio provide AI lung imaging data software
Imaging AI company Imbio partnered with research data platform Flywheel Exchange to add Imbio’s AI-driven 3D lung visualizations to Flywheel’s real-time collaboration tool, then made the entire platform free to academic and clinical researchers.
Although Flywheel and Imbio share a parent company, Invenshure, they have independently developed technologies over the past five years. Imbio partners with pharmaceutical companies in the development of new drugs to treat lung conditions, with imaging biomarkers to support clinical trials and follow-on into clinical care. Flywheel is a medical imaging informatics platform for researchers in academia, clinics and the pharma industry.
