Accendra Health (formerly known as Owens & Minor) has disclosed compensation for top executives and its median employee.

The disclosure covers the final year before the publicly traded company sold the Owens & Minor brand and its Products & Healthcare Services (P&HS) business, which manufactures medical devices.

Owens & Minor’s rebranding took effect on Dec. 31, 2025 as the company finalized the $375 million P&HS sale to private equity firm Platinum Equity.

Owens & Minor was the world’s 13th-largest medical device company, according to our 2025 Medtech Big 100 ranking by revenue.

That ranking was based on the company’s $10.7 billion of revenue in 2024. The company reported revenue of $10.672 billion in 2025, falling short of its target.

“Although we achieved our strategic objective of divesting that segment, we nevertheless had to absorb the underperformance of the P&HS business for the entirety of 2025,” the company said in the filing. “Additionally, there were several other significant headwinds in 2025, including the termination of the company’s intended acquisition of Rotech, as well as a challenging macroeconomic environment. Driven by these factors and others, the company underperformed relative to the total-company financial goals set for the year, and the OP&C Committee’s compensation decisions reflect that reality.”

Recruiting and retaining top talent — both at the executive and engineering level — is crucial in the medtech industry, but employee compensation is kept secret in most cases. Medical Design & Outsourcing tracks and analyzes these pay figures when disclosed by major device developers and manufacturers.

Accendra Health executive pay

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission requires publicly held companies to disclose total compensation for their CEO, CFO and three of the highest-paid executives.

Accendra Health President and CEO Edward Pesicka received $11.2 million in total compensation for 2025, up 4% from $10.7 million the year before.

His compensation included a $1.2 million salary, $9.6 million in stock awards and a $345,000 cash performance bonus.

Pesicka also received $102,669 in other compensation, which included $86,241 for corporate aircraft use, $10,500 in 401(k) matching contributions, $4,900 for executive physical costs, $636 in life insurance premiums and $392 in HSA matching contributions.

Former Accendra Health EVP and Products and Healthcare Services CEO Andrew Long received $3.6 million in total compensation for 2025, down 10% from $4 million the year before.

Long left the company on Jan. 1, 2026, in connection with the P&HS sale.

Long’s compensation included a $691,866 salary, $2.9 million in stock awards and $15,736 in other compensation.

His other compensation included $10,500 in 401(k) matching contributions, $3,500 for tax planning, a $1,100 personal security benefit and $636 in life insurance premiums.

Accendra Health EVP and Chief Operating Officer Perry Bernocchi recived $3.4 million in total compensation for 2025, down 8% from $3.7 million the year before.

Bernocchi was promoted from CEO of the company’s Patient Direct business to companywide chief operating officer on Dec. 5, 2025.

His compensation included a $644,417 salary, $2.6 million in stock awards, a $119,070 cash performance bonus and $10,913 in other compensation. His other compensation included $10,500 in 401(k) matching contributions and $413 in life insurance premiums.

Accendra Health EVP and CFO Jonathan Leon received nearly $3 million in total compensation, up 30% from $2.3 million the year before.

Leon’s compensation included a $572,885 salary, a $300,000 cash bonus in recognition of his role and contributions in closing the divestiture, $2.1 million in stock awards and $16,528 in other compensation.

His other compensation included $10,500 in 401(k) matching contributions, $5,000 for executive physical costs, $392 in HSA matching contributions and $636 in life insurance premiums.

Accendra Health EVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Heath Galloway received $2.3 million in total compensation for 2025, up 4% from $2.2 million the year before.

Galloway’s compensation included a $513,731 salary, a $265,000 cash bonus for helping to close the sale, $1.5 million in stock awards and $18,493 in other compensation.

His other compensation included $10,500 in 401(k) matching contributions, a $4,108 personal security benefit, $3,249 for executive physical costs and $636 in like insurance premiums.

In addition to his role as general counsel and corporate secretary, Galloway assumed oversight responsibility for the company’s human resources department in 2025 after former EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer Jennifer Stone “elected to depart to right-size our executive team and better fit the go-forward strategy of Accendra Health.”

“Our executive compensation programs are designed to reflect a pay-for-performance philosophy that aligns with the business’s strategy and goals, both short and long-term, and pays for sustained performance, profitable growth, and achievement of results,” the company said in the filing.

Accendra Health median worker pay and CEO pay ratio

The SEC requires publicly traded companies to calculate the gap between CEO compensation and pay for its median employee.

Accendra Health calculated its median employee wage at $41,005, up 1% from $40,368 the year before.

The latest median employee pay figure put Accendra Health’s CEO pay at 272 times more than its median employee’s pay. That pay gap widened for the second consecutive year, from 266:1 the year before.

Accendra didn’t identify the median employee by job title. At medtech companies that offer more details about their median workers than required by the SEC pay disclosure rules, those median medtech workers often hold technical roles such as device design or engineering.

Investors will cast advisory “say-on-pay” votes on the company’s executive compensation practices at the May 14, 2026 annual meeting. Shareholders overwhelmingly voted in support of the company’s executive pay the year before.
