Field, who discussed Insulet’s cross-border recruiting of engineers from Mexico for Omnipod 5 at DeviceTalks West 2023, left Insulet last month. The diabetes tech developer and manufacturer is the world’s 57th-largest medical device company, according to Medical Design & Outsourcing‘s 2024 Medtech Big 100 ranking by revenue.
ITJ is headquartered in Rancho Santa Fe, California, and has a center of excellence in Tijuana, Mexico. The company called Field a “highly respected leader in healthcare and life sciences, known for driving innovation and leading global teams across some of the industry’s most transformative companies.”
