Laird Thermal Systems has launched its new website with advanced engineering tools.
The new website allows design engineers to specify, search and select the optimum thermoelectric module, thermoelectric assembly or liquid cooling system for various applications. Laird Thermal Systems also suggests that the website can shorten product design cycles while improving product or system performance by allowing design engineers to quickly search for their needs.
One of the features on the website is the Thermal Wizard, which uses application calculators to determine the best thermal management option at the thermoelectric module, thermoelectric assembly or liquid cooling system level. It also gives thermal engineers the ability to input their cooling requirement and other criteria to determine appropriate thermal management solutions. Thermal Wizard can also calculate the cooling requirement using the defined application, including device cooling, enclosure cooling, air cooling or liquid cooling.
“This new resource delivers information to engineers quickly and efficiently,” Karine Brand, interim CEO at Laird Thermal Systems, said. “Selecting the right thermal solutions for a particular application can be a long and difficult process for any design engineer, one that requires many technological and financial trade-offs. To speed up and simplify the process, Laird Thermal Systems developed this website to make thermal decisions easier and more accurate.”
The new website also has quick and easy access to interactive data sheets, data sheets PDFs, in-depth market and application information that links to product information.
