TE Connectivity (Schaffhousen, Switzerland) said today that it plans to promote its latest sensing, minimally invasive surgical and imaging components at MD&M West, Feb. 5–7 in Anaheim, Calif.
TE will showcase its newest products, as well as allow visitors a chance to get hands-on with an interactive laparoscopic simulation experience.
Products TE is touting at the show include:
- Oxygen detection sensors – TE says its surface mounted technology (SMT) photo optic sensors provide accuracy in oxygen level detection, which is critical in acute medical situations like post-op recovery.
- High Precision Medical Position Control – The KMXP series position sensors offer a precise measurement of mechanical controls within medical applications such as bed control, advanced prosthesis steering, precision catheters, X-ray equipment or syringe pumps, according to TE.
- Wearable Pressure Sensor Technology – TE’s MS5840-02BA ultra-compact low profile sensor provides critical altimeter and barometer measurement in consumer devices such as fitness trackers.
“TE has a broad portfolio of sensors, connectors and cables, catheters, metal shafts and shrink tubing that enable next-generation medical devices,” Bill Irwin, TE’s senior manager of medical business development, said in a news release.
TE will be at Booth No. 3141 at the show.
