Globus was the world’s 47th-largest medical device company on our latest Medtech Big 100 ranking by revenue.
That ranking was based on the orthopedics and surgical robotics company’s 2024 revenue of $2.5 billion. Globus reported $2.9 billion in revenue for 2025, up 16% from the year before.
The company finalized its acquisition of chronic pain treatment developer Nervo Corp. for $250 million in April 2025. Globus said its 2025 revenue without Nervo was $2.6 billion.
Recruiting and retaining top talent — both at the executive and engineering level — is crucial in the medtech industry, but employee compensation is kept secret in most cases. Medical Design & Outsourcing tracks and analyzes these pay figures when disclosed by major device developers and manufacturers.
Globus Medical executive pay
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission requires publicly held companies to disclose total compensation for their CEO, CFO and three of the highest-paid executives.

In July 2025, Scavilla resigned to become CEO at Dentsply Sirona.
Scavilla “forfeited all of his outstanding equity awards” when he resigned, the company said in the disclosure.
Globus promoted EVP, COO and CFO Keith Pfeil to president and CEO when Scavilla resigned. Pfeil received $4.4 million in total compensation for 2025, up 83% from $2.4 million the year before.
Pfeil’s compensation included $479,467 worth of salary, a $117,000 one-time cash bonus for the Nevro acquisition and integration, nearly $3 million in option awards, a $783,000 cash performance bonus and $38,345 in other compensation.
Globus Medical founder and Executive Chair David Paul received $4.3 million in total compensation for 2025, up 38% from $3.1 million the year before.
Paul’s compensation included a $469,388 salary, a $100,000 one-time cash bonus for the Nevro acquisition and integration, $2.7 million in option awards, a $1 million cash performance bonus and $34,680 in other compensation.
Globus Medical EVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Kelly Huller received $2.3 million in total compensation for 2025, up 43% from $1.6 million the year before.
Huller’s compensation included a $364,075 salary, a $40,000 one-time cash bonus for the Nevro acquisition and integration, $1.4 million in option awards, a $411,709 cash performance bonus and $34,578 in other compensation.
Globus Medical SVP and CFO Kyle Kline received $1.4 million in total compensation for 2025. He was promoted to SVP and CFO in July 2025, so his prior-year compensation was not disclosed.
Kline’s compensation included a $334,040 salary, a $50,000 one-time cash bonus for the Nevro acquisition and integration, $762,954 in option awards, a $200,000 cash performance bonus and $33,264 in other compensation.
Other compensation for the executives included group health insurance benefits, 401(k) matching contributions, vehicle allowances, YMCA membership reimbursements and life and disability insurance premiums.
“Our compensation philosophy is centered on our goal of establishing and maintaining an executive compensation program, which applies to all of our named executive officers, that attracts proven, talented leaders who possess the skills and experience necessary to achieve our strategic goals and to create value for our stockholders,” the company said in the filing.
Globus Medical’s median employee pay and CEO pay ratio
The SEC requires publicly traded companies to calculate the gap between CEO compensation and pay for its median employee.
Globus calculated its median employee wage at $128,616, up 34% from $95,497 the year before. Globus did not include the 585 Nevro employees who joined the company in its calculations.
That’s the highest median employee wage we’ve seen this year except for Abbott, which included employees from its pharmaceutical segment and other businesses, not just employees from its medical device group.
The company provided a pay ratio between its median employee and a $4.5 million salary figure for Pfeil, representing an annualized compensation value had he been paid his new base salary level for the entire year and a non-equity incentive bonus using a non-prorated target bonus amount.
The latest median employee pay figure puts Pfeil’s annualized pay at 31 times more than the median employee, closing the gap from a 51:1 pay ratio the year before.
At other medtech companies that offer more details about their median workers than required by the SEC pay disclosure rules, those median medtech workers often hold technical roles such as device design or engineering.
Shareholders overwhelmingly voted in support of the company’s executive pay at Globus Medical’s annual meeting in June 2026.
