AAOS Roundup: Zimmer Biomet touts offerings in every orthopedics category
Zimmer Biomet is showcasing its latest commercial offerings in foot and ankle, hip, knees and more at the American Academy of orthopedic Surgeons this year in New Orleans.
Some of the foot and ankle solutions the company is touting include deformity correcting products through a partnership with Nextremity Solutions like the Nextra Hammertoe Correction System, the MSP Metatarsal Shortening System, Arcus Staple System and the Re+Line Bunion Correction System. Zimmer Biomet is also touting its Subchondroplasty procedure for foot and ankle surgery, which is a minimally invasive outpatient surgery that is designed to fix the defects from subchondral bone marrow lesions.
Zimmer Biomet’s hip offerings include the G7 and Continuum acetabular shells with advanced bearing and coating options, Echo Bi-Metric Microplasty hip stem and the Trabecular Metal acetabular shells.
Also being showcased at AAOS are knee systems like the Persona Partial Knee System, Persona Primary Knee System Micro Sizes, Persona Trabecular Metal Tibia and OSS Orthopedic Salvage System.
The Mobi-C Cervical Disc mobile core device and Vitality Spinal Fixation System designed for spinal fixation in thoracolumbar procedures are also being showcased at the show.
Zimmer Biomet is showcasing more offerings in biologics, diagnostics, bone cement, extremities, personalized solutions, robotic technology, signature solutions, spine, sports medicine, surgical and trauma at AAOS as well.
