Carto Prime
Biosense Webster
Carto Prime is a 3D mapping technology for cardiac imaging developed by Johnson & Johnson’s subsidiary Biosense Webster.
The complex fractionated atrial electrogram (CFAE) module has coherent mapping to simplify the diagnosis of scar-related complex atrial arrhythmia by using physiological constraints on LAT information. The integrated CartoFinder module identifies repetitive focal and rotational region of interest in adjunction with an AFib workflow.
Biosense Webster suggests that the device improves location accuracy compared with standard PVC mapping by associating the PVC location information to a corresponding normal sinus rhythm location. The system’s parallel mapping and map replay allows for mapping of multiple arrhythmias prospectively or retrospectively.
