EBR Systems raised $50 million in venture capital during the fourth quarter of 2017, according to the MoneyTree Report. The company raised the money during its later stage of development. This is the fourth investment sequence for EBR Systems. Venture capital investors include Ascension Ventures, Brandon Capital Partners, Emergent Medical Partners, M.H. Carnegie & Co. and Split Rock Partners.
EBR Systems uses stimulation through wireless endocardial pacing to treat cardiac rhythm disease. The device gets rid of the need for coronary sinus leads to stimulate the left ventricle in heart failure patients requiring CRT.
