Ebb Therapeutics raised $38 million in its expansion stage of development during the first quarter of 2017, according to the MoneyTree Report. Venture capital investors include Arboretum Ventures, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., Partner Ventures and Versant Ventures. This is the company’s second investment sequence.
Ebb Therapeutics is a developer of a therapeutic device for treating insomnia. The wearable, Ebb, is an FDA-cleared device that reduces the amount of time it takes for someone to fall asleep and enter deep, restorative sleep. Ebb cools a users forehead while helping to quiet a racing mind and enhancing the ability to fall asleep, according to the company.
