Xenex Disinfection Services raised $38 million in venture capital during its later stage of development during the first quarter of 2017, according to the MoneyTree Report. Investors include Essex Woodlands, Malin Corporation, Piper Jaffray, Sequel Ventures and Tectonic Ventures. This is the company’s sixth investment sequence.
The company develops UV room disinfection systems for healthcare facilities. Its systems use pulsed xenon UV room disinfection. Xenex says the systems can easily integrate into hospital operations – eliminating bacteria, viruses and spores that tend to cause hospital-acquired infections.
