Neuropace raised $50 million in venture capital in the first quarter of 2017, according to the MoneyTree Report. This is the company’s fourth investment sequence. Investors include Johnson & Johnson Innovation, KCK Group and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
NeuroPace develops implantable devices that treat neurological disorders using neurostimulation. The company developed the RNS System originally to treat epilepsy. It is the first and only medical device that can monitor and respond to brain activity, according to the company.
